The Ambassador Marine Stripper AM15 is a professional rope cutter designed to protect the propeller shaft installation against ropes, mooring lines, fishing nets, plastic and weed. The Stripper is widely used thanks to its reliable scissor action and robust marine construction.

The system uses a fixed cutter and a rotary cutter mounted on the shaft. As the shaft rotates, the blades create a progressive scissor action, cutting ropes and lines cleanly instead of chopping or breaking them. This helps reduce shock loads on the propeller, shaft, bearings, gearbox and engine mountings.

This version is suitable for a 2″ (50,8 mm) shaft combined with a 3-blade propeller. The number of cutter blades is matched to the number of propeller blades for correct operation and minimal hydrodynamic resistance.
