Fell Marine MOB+ Basic Kit: Wireless Dead Man's Switch with Transmitter: Intelligent Man Overboard System! In a world where electronics surround us, it’s almost unbelievable that the corded kill switch still exists: MOB+ is an electronically controlled, wireless kill switch that can be used on all boats. The time has finally come for a kill switch that not only offers the user all the benefits of electronics, but also freedom and extra safety. We recommend using MOB+ on boats 40 feet or smaller. Your personal guardian: The corded dead man’s switch is rarely used because it ties you to a very limited space on board. With the MOB+ Wireless Man Overboard System, you regain your freedom without sacrificing safety. The xFOB is your personal guardian at sea. Because the xFOB unit is placed in the accompanying xBAND or xTAG, it does not restrict any movement. Should you fall into the water, the engine(s) will stop in just one second. General information about the system: As you board your boat, press the xFOB to connect to the xHUB. A green light and an audio signal confirm the connection, and the engine can be started. In the event of a fall overboard, the engine shuts off when the xFOB is submerged or more than 15 meters away from the xHUB. Six seconds after shutdown, passengers can restart the engine to rescue the person in the water. When leaving the boat, press the xFOB once to disconnect. Up to 20 xFOB units can be stored per xHUB (if more than 20 are paired, the first ones paired will be removed). Up to four xFOB units can be connected to the xHUB at the same time, with one unit serving as the captain’s control unit and the remaining three as passenger alarm units.
