In a water-lubricated propeller shaft system, accurate bearing support is essential for smooth running and long driveline life. This Aqualube rubber bearing with brass shell is designed to guide the propeller shaft under continuously changing marine loads.

The longitudinal grooves in the nitrile rubber lining carry water through the bearing. During operation this water forms a hydrodynamic lubrication film between the shaft and bearing surface, reducing friction and wear on both shaft and bearing.
